The U.S.-China Institute and Confucius Institute offer free Taiji and Baduanjin classs to Bryant faculty, staff and students.
Both Taiji and Baduanjin are traditional Chinese exercises. Taiji benefits both minds and bodies by achieving harmony and balance in motion. Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade) features a combination of relaxation and tightness, and serves as a good warm-up for Taiji. Both 8-step Taiji and 8-routine Baduanjin are easily accessible and suitable for practice during work breaks.
