2022 Fall First Year Community Service Event (past event)

Community service is an important part of our Honors Program at Bryant University.  Last year, Honors students designed, managed, and sustained an Honors Program Resource Pantry for all students on campus.

This semester, we will continue to learn about, and bring awareness to, food insecurity on college campus.  On October 6, one of our recent graduates, Valerie Hartnett, will come and talk with you about food insecurity and her own experiences.  She will talk with you from 6:00-6:30pm in Papitto/Heritage in the Fisher Student Center.  This event is mandatory for all First-Year Honors students.

After Valerie's talk, we will move out to the new Fisher patio where we will have entertainment, food, and additional activities.  Some activities will be required and others will be optional with the chance to win prizes.  One mandatory activity will serve as your second attendance check for the evening.
