About this Event

Celebrate the Festival of Lights with holiday activities in the Roto from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.! Immerse yourself in a winter wonderland with over 20+ student organizations and activities. Take photos with your favorite holiday characters like Buddy the Elf, Elsa, Olaf, and Rudolph. Santa and Mrs. Klaus will make an appearance!

For dinner, head to Salmo for a Festive Meal from 4:30–8 p.m. Seniors and commuters eat for FREE!

Then, gather your friends and family and celebrate the traditions from around the world at the Festival of Lights Ceremony in the Roto from 7:00–8:00 p.m. There will be religious readings, music, and dance. A candle lighting and procession will lead everyone to the celebratory lighting of the campus tree and the menorah. A reception with hot chocolate, cookies, and music by the Bryant Jazz Band will follow in the Fisher Student Center.

Festival of Lights is organized by The Student Alumni Association, keepers of Bryant Traditions, and sponsored by The Office of Alumni and Parent Engagement, Center for Student Activities, and Office of Campus Ministry.

10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Student Org Holiday Activities in the Rotunda  
4:30 - 8:00 p.m. Festive Meal at Salmo -Seniors and Commuters Eat For FREE!
7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Festival of Lights Ceremony in the Rotunda
8:00 - 8:30 p.m. Campus Tree and Menorah Lighting, Jazz Band performance, and hot chocolate and cookies in Student Fisher Center
