Better Together with Dr. Derek Greenfield (past event)

Bryant University Student Government and Upper Administration invites the Bryant Community to be a part of Better Together: Dr. Greenfield. This event will be an interactive and campus wide conversation about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion instructed by Dr. Derek Greenfield, a respected and accomplished public speaker. On Wednesday, March 2nd we will hold two interactive sessions to put on the “Better Together” event. The two sessions are open to all students, faculty, and staff and will be held at both 11am and 2:30pm in the AIC Forum.

The sessions are titled Breaking Down Barriers: Building for Inclusive Communities at Bryant. During both sessions, Dr. Greenfield will engage the community in conversation in order to  experience a dynamic opportunity to break down barriers, learn more about one another, and establish the notion of inclusive excellence as the framework for success at Bryant. Following a series of interactive activities, Dr. Greenfield will offer insights and stories designed to highlight the value of creating a safe and inclusive environment for everyone to be who they are and to harness the collective talents of our diverse community. Dr. Greenfield will engage the group in a powerful concluding section where participants express appreciation for one another in order to depart as a more unified student body committed to sustaining a truly inclusive community. The overall goal is to make Bryant University a community that can move and achieve higher by realizing they will become better if we work together.
