What do people consider when deciding to participate in politics? This talk will examine the role of racial grievances in shaping how Black people strategically engage in politics. Specifically, it will explore how new measures of racial grievance lead to more accurate predictions of Black political participation. Through this analysis, we will deepen our understanding of the factors influencing Black political involvement. Join Prof. Jé St Sume (University of Maryland, Baltimore County) for the discussion.
