Ryan Parker's mission is to disrupt the oppressive legacy embedded in educational spaces and to influence and empower others to also engage in the disruption. His most recent book and collection of poems are centered on the necessary narrative of Black Joy and excellence. This workshop will focus on how to use poetry to build community.
