Do you care about veteran causes? Are you motivated and looking to get involved but don't know where to start? How about adding some resume bullets showing employers you are actively engaged with supporting military veterans in higher education? Bryant University's chapter of the Student Veterans of America is looking for entrepreneurial minds committed to veteran related issues on and off campus. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A VETERAN OR CADET TO RUN FOR LEADERSHIP.
Eligibility is for all Bryant Students with a 2.0 GPA and committed to expanding the BVPN into the future. (Article IV.2.c.i). Candidates for CEO, CMO must submit a business plan outlining how they plan to improve the organization going forward (Article IV.2.c.iii). Please run for office and vote for new leadership. BVPN Constitution is here and Business Plan here. If interested in leading a dynamic group of professionals please (1) join the BVPN and (2) email resume and cover letter to bryantveterans@bryant.edu by Friday, 15 FEB. Put your name and position you are running for in the subject line. If running for CEO or CMO please also include an original business plan outlining how you will grow the organization under your leadership. There is no format. We are looking for original thought and viability.
Available positions for Spring elections are Chief Executive Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Historian, VP of Membership, and VP of Liaison Affairs. Build your resume while you build the student veteran culture on campus. Please bring ideas to the table and lay the foundation for this inclusive student-led organization.
