The Amica Center invites you to attend the 3rd Annual Dress for Success Fashion Show on Thursday, March 28th, at 4 pm in the AIC Forum!

This event was initially created as an educational opportunity to provide students with ideas and resources that would assist in dressing for success in summer internships or new full-time roles. "Dressing for success" can make or break job interviews, it can increase your chances of promotion, can increase confidence and efficiency, and can lead to higher salaries over the course of your career.

However, within the Amica Center, we also empower students to bring their authentic selves into the workplace through their attire. Whether that be your personal style, the colors or patterns you choose, or embracing natural hairstyles, we firmly believe that there is space for authenticity and professionalism to coexist in professional settings. Even nurses and lawyers have found ways to incorporate personal identity into strict dress codes and we are here to help you navigate your way of incorporating your identity into your professional attire. With this, we hope that this event also celebrates diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace and allows students to learn about their protections before entering into jobs and internships.

We will be joined this year by representatives from Nordstrom's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion department, as well as representatives from their styling and recruiting departments. Our keynote will discuss Nordstrom's connection to the message of this event while providing insight and advice from their perspectives. We will also have great music, red-carpet photo opportunities, and Raising Cane's fried chicken tenders along with other refreshments (first-come, first-serve)
