From China to Bryant: Journey of a Scholar

In this session, Prof. Crystal Jiang will share her professional and academic journey from China to Bryant, where she is Professor of Management and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in International Business, Strategic Management and Managing Multinational Enterprises. Prof. Jiang has also led and co-led international study trips to China, Japan and Panama for Bryant students through Sophomore International Experience (SIE) and Graduate International Experience (GIE).

Prof. Jiang is an Executive Board Member for the Academy of International Business Northeast Chapter and President starting October 2020. Her research focuses on firms originated from emerging economies in capability-building, innovation strategy and cross-cultural management. Prof. Jiang earned her Ph.D. from the Fox School of Business Temple University in International Business Management. Prior to coming to the U.S., she was an investment manager for the China Qingdao Foreign Economic and Trade Committee and the Chamber of International Commerce.
