Incoterms® 2020:

"Incoterms®" stands for "international commercial terms" and was created by the International Chamber of Commerce back in 1936.

Incoterms® define the important responsibilities of both buyers and sellers for the delivery of goods and are an essential part of international business transactions, used in sales contracts, Proforma invoices, purchase orders, and commercial invoices.

This seminar will introduce the new Incoterms® 2020 and explain the changes from Incoterms® 2010.

PRESENTED BY: Bob Ernest, Partner, Logistics & Transportation at Arent Fox has over 20 years' experience in the logistics and transportation industry, both international and domestic. With an expertise in managing a diverse range of corporate and regulatory issues, including global trade compliance, Bob has an in-depth understanding of Incoterms®!

Landed Cost:

Landed Cost is an estimate of the true cost of delivering a product to market. Understanding how to use this tool can provide valuable insight into market potential and help evaluate the potential for successful market penetration and profitability.

The second half of this seminar will guide participants through the process of calculating Landed Cost and how to use this information to develop an appropriate import or export strategy.

PRESENTED BY: Linda Woulfe, Assistant Director of the Chafee Center, has over 40 years of international business experience.
