DESCRIPTION:BIO: Aliana is currently a patient relationship and advocacy ma
 nager for a biotech firm\, Bioverativ\, which was recently acquired by San
 ofi Genzyme.  She serves the hemophilia and bleeding disorder community in
  NYC and NJ mainly in patient support\, advocacy at the city and state lev
 el\, as well as community outreach.  She became involved after her now 9-y
 ear-old nephew was diagnosed with Severe Hemophilia A at birth.  Since his
  diagnosis\, she’s been actively involved in the Hemophilia community at
  the local and national level\, serving on the board of the local chapter 
 and co-founding a young professional network to raise funds nationally. Sh
 e still currently volunteers and was recently honored with the Susan Galli
 gan Volunteer of the Year award in 2017.  She has over 10 years in technol
 ogy previously working at Ernst & Young\, JPMorgan Chase and Lehman Brothe
 rs. At EY she was a technology implementation consultant\, working with cl
 ients nationally to transform their finance operations. At JPMorgan\, she 
 was a Vice President leading the Business Analysis and Quality Assurance t
 eams for the Escrow Technology Group\, whereby they were creating internal
  systems and tools to grow the business. She led teams and projects with t
 eam members located across the globe. Lastly at Lehman she was building tr
 ansformative technology platforms to grow the Fixed Income and Equity Sale
 s business including internal CRM tools.  She has her MS in Management and
  Systems with a focus on Strategy and Leadership from NYU and her BS in Bu
 siness with a concentration in Finance\, from Bryant. Aliana has a passion
  to serve and has given her time and energy to: running a homeless shelter
  that provided beds and food for 10 women 5 nights a week\, volunteering w
 ith the animal shelter providing resources to low income pet owners\, the 
 New York Urban League\, Senior Citizen programs\, Bryant University and me
 ntoring many young adults.  She’s often participating on panels and spec
 ial committees throughout various communities and organizations. She’s c
 urrently the Board President of the condominium where she lives and worshi
 ps at Renaissance church in Harlem.
